Purpose

In a few weeks DC Comics (Detective Comics Comics?  Yeah it doesn't make much sense when you think of it) will be relaunching everything.  Yep, total blow up.  52 new issues will be released over the next month starting on August 31st.  Will they be good?  Maybe.  Will they suck?  Maybe too.  We're probably going to get a mix of both. 

What I'll be attempting during this period is to review every 52 issues.  Every Batman, Superman, OMAC (Really OMAC?  Did anyone really want an OMAC book?)  issue will be reviewed over this time.  I've been a comic book fan for almost 20 years, so from a fan's perspective I'll be giving my opinion.  I've never written anything published for money.  I'm not an artist.  What I have done is read a lot of comics.  So I'm hoping that does give my voice some weight (Probably Not).  

I'm looking to give my input into what I think is a make or break time for DC.  Up until the relaunch I'll look at what brought us to this point.  DC's decision  to go in a daring and bold direction is gutsy, proactive, and borderline insane.  We'll start around 25 years ago and move forward to see why this happened.  Yep we're starting with Crisis.
